The Kingdom of Heaven On Earth

The Bible states in Isaiah 9:6-7a (KJV) “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government (Kingdom of Heaven) shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end…” I think we can both agree that this is talking about Jesus, The Christ. It also implies that because Jesus was born the government comes to earth.

In the book of Daniel the king has a dream that Daniel interprets about a statue (Daniel 2). Daniel goes on and explains what the different metals represent on the statue as the different kingdoms (Governments) that would rule the earth, then Daniel moves on to “the Rock”. In verse 44 Daniel makes this statement “In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom (government) that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure forever”. Now, “when will or when was this rock cut?” Daniel states that the rock was not cut “by human hands” (Daniel 2:45 KJV). Jesus, The Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit NOT by man. He is “The Rock” cut from the mountain NOT by human hands. 

In Matthew 16 Jesus asked his disciples “Who do men say I am?” (verse 13 KJV) and Peter answered “You are the Christ, the son of the living God” (Verse 16 KJV) This where Jesus then states “And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church;”(verse 18 KJV) We know that the name Peter means “rock or stone” (Strong’s G4074 - Petros) but when Jesus says “upon this rock I will build my church” he is NOT talking about Peter, because if he was, he would have use the same word in the Greek (Petros) but instead He uses the word “Petra” in the Greek (Strong’s 4073) which means “A large stone” because Peter’s statement in verse 16 was recognition and the first key or truth (Rock) in the Kingdom of Heaven. It’s the fact that Jesus is King. A King is the foundation of any kingdom. This is why the apostle Paul wrote “For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.” (1 Corinthians 3:11) 

A Kingdom is the governing authority of a King (Jesus) over His territory (Psalm 24:1), impacting it with His will, His intent, His purpose and His power (Prov. 19:21), producing a community of citizens who express the culture, the nature and the lifestyle of the King (Ephesians 5:1). Jesus said during the last supper “I will not eat or drink until the kingdom of God comes” (paraphrasing) see Luke 22:15-18. Then after His resurrection Peter states in the book of Acts “by us who ate and drank with Him after he rose from the dead” (Act 10:41b) Religion want us to believe that the kingdom can only be entered when we die and go the heaven, yet Jesus said “I tell you the truth, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom." (Matthew 16:28 NIV) The disciples were apart of it back then and YOU CAN BE A PART OF IT TODAY.

A Common Wealth Kingdom

The good news of the Kingdom of heaven is that people have been given access to learn the original culture and lifestyle God intended man to have on earth again. The prophet Isaiah said it this way "For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and THE GOVERNMENT will be upon His shoulders. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."(Isaiah 9:6) This verse is talking about Jesus, The Christ. Jesus came to bring back to us a culture and lifestyle that we had lost. This wonderful government called "The Kingdom of Heaven" comes with a culture and lifestyle which requires us to change the way we think. This is why Jesus’ first words to the public were “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” (Matt. 4:17 NKJV) Only a king can establish a kingdom.

When Jesus came into the world, the Roman Empire (Kingdom) was ruling the whole entire known world at the time. The Roman Kingdom had everything God needed so that the people would understand the gospel of Jesus. One aspect of kingdom living and functionality that we should come to understand and apply in the church today, is what is called “common wealth”. In an earthly kingdom like the Roman Empire, common wealth is the equal distribution of goods and riches to all the citizens of the kingdom by the king. In the time of the Romans, soldiers would go out and conquer territories. They would bring back the riches and goods to the king, and then the king would say what amount to distribute to the citizens in equal shares. For example, if there were 100 citizens in the kingdom and the kingdom acquired 150 gold pieces. The king would keep 50 gold pieces and give each citizen 1 gold piece.

This kingdom practice of common wealth is also something Jesus brought with His kingdom of heaven. Common wealth in the Kingdom of Heaven is similar, but not the same. In the Kingdom of Heaven the distribution of riches and goods is done by the citizens themselves. Why? because the King lives in them and they in the King. We can first see the citizens of the kingdom of heaven practice common wealth in the book of Acts. The bible says “And all the believers met together in one place and SHARED EVERYTHING they had. They sold their property and possessions and shared the money with those in need.” (Acts 2:44-45 NLT) again the bible states “Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common…. Nor was there anyone among them who lacked…” (Acts 4:32, 34a NKJV)

In today’s church there are many people with needs and most people usually go to the Pastor of their local congregation in private to ask for help. (I know this because I myself did it) The thing is that this is a mistake we have allowed in our church today. It brings and puts terrible pressure on the Pastor of the congregation to provide a solution. Yet, the Pastor is NOT the only one responsible for meeting the people's needs in church. It is supposed to be a congregational effort to make sure that NO ONE is in need in that congregation. Pastors it is NOT your responsibility to meet all the physical needs in your congregation. It is the congregation’s responsibility to provide and help each other. Let those who have ears listen to what the Spirit is saying.

A Kingdom Message - Seek

It was 2000 years ago when a man was born into the world. He was a regular man, but his Father was God. He was born without sin and came to save mankind from theirs. He was born of virgin woman as a sign to the people, but the people ignored it. He came with a message that made perfect sense at the time, and yet, through out the centuries that message has weakened. He has been the most misunderstood man on earth. This man’s name is Jesus, The Christ and He did NOT bring a religion. He brought with Him a GOVERNMENT.

This government is called “The Kingdom”. Jesus mentions it as “the kingdom of heaven or God”. Heaven or God is simple the place it comes from. It literally is a form of government from heaven. The next question you should ask yourself is “Why a Government?” or “What does a government come with?” Government is the form or system by which the people of a country are ruled or controlled. A government is the ruling authority of a system over a territory, impacting and producing a community of people (citizens), who express the culture and lifestyle of the system. This is why the democratic government is so good in the eyes of people. The system tells them that they can have the culture and lifestyle they want.

In today’s world people really don’t want a religion. They don’t want someone to tell them how to live their life. They don’t want to be limited in any way. They want to be able to experience life to the fullest. Most people today see religion as just a hindrance. To them religion is a barrier that limits one’s life experience. No one is looking for religion any more. All people want in life is the freedom to do what they want. Whether it is Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, or Christianity, no one is rushing or forcing themselves to get into them, and yet, Jesus said this about His Kingdom “…the good news of the kingdom of God is being preached, and everyone is forcing their way into it.”(Luke 16:16) Sounds like the immigration problem America has today.

Jesus is saying, that when people begin to understand “The Kingdom” message, they will do whatever it takes to get in. People will sell all they have to “GET IN” (Matthew 13:45-46). People will look for it like a hidden treasure and risk their lives to experience it just like the immigrants do to get to America, because it promises them a culture and lifestyle of prosperity. EVERYONE on earth is looking for an abundant life, whether they know it consciously or unconsciously. We all want to NOT WORRY about THE THINGS we need in our daily lives. Jesus also said “SEEK first His kingdom and His Righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”(Matt 6:33) (IF YOU HAVE TO WORK FOR IT, IT WAS NOT ADDED)

The kingdom of heaven is what YOU are looking for. This is why you want to be rich. It’s not "money" that you want; it’s the power that money gives you that you want. The power to eat, drink, wear, go, and do anything you want. Jesus also knows you want these things which is why He mentions them before Matthew 6:33. He says “Do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear.”(Matt 6:25) but in this same verse He asks YOU “Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?” This question implies that there is more to life than just your physical needs. This questions deals with YOUR PURPOSE IN LIFE.

The Return Of Heaven on Earth

Today’s world is NOT perfect. We humans have tried to come up with the perfect way to live ever since Adam disobeyed God. We have tried to perfect our way of life since the moment Adam took the fruit and ate it. We keep trying to come up with different governments, but none of them have been able to accomplish what we had in the Garden of Eden. We are now in the year 2013. Over 6000 years have passed since Adam disobeyed and the governments of today don’t seem to be working, at least not when you compare it to the Garden of Eden.

We had everything in the Garden. There was NO poverty, NO crime, NO sickness, NO corruption, NO starvation, NO DEATH. Everything Adam wanted was available to him. Adam had every need met in the Garden; power, food, water, God even gave him a woman. Adam had the PERFECT LIFE. The Garden of Eden was an atmosphere or environment of heavenly order. The word "Eden" means "Delight" or "Pleasure"(Strong's H5731 and H5730). So in other words the Garden of Eden is a heavenly order in the delightful and pleasant presence of God. The phrase "heavenly order" can be expanded into other words, such as "an order that rules in heaven"; another way of expressing these words that can be the word "government". A government is what provides the lifestyle and culture of the people in a country.

When Adam disobeyed God, he was immediately cut off from the influence of the government; and his first act of Adam on his own was an attack on his wife. Even though it wasn’t a physical attack, it was an attack. The second act that occurs once we started governing ourselves was a brother on brother crime. In today’s world we are still faced with these problems. Domestic violence and murder are always on the top of the crime list. It doesn’t matter what government is controlling that nation, they are problems that no human government has been able to correct.

The good new is that the government of heaven has RETURNED. The prophet Isaiah said it this way "For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and THE GOVERNMENT will be upon His shoulders. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."(Isaiah 9:6) This verse is talking about Jesus, The Christ. Jesus came to bring back to us this wonderful government called "The Kingdom of Heaven".

Everyone Wants To Go To Heaven

Everyone wants to go to heaven, but my question is "what is IN heaven that everyone wants to go there?"... I figured it out....to me, heaven will have everything that I want on earth; peace, love, no worries, everything is FREE, I get to do the things I love to do, like grilling, fishing, dancing, etc....awww..... HEAVEN.....what a great place!!! Just thinking about it make you want to go there, but I believe that this is what most people think heaven is like. Wouldn't it be great if we didn't have to DIE to experience heavenly life? Wouldn't it be great if we could experience this life NOW.

God thought of the same idea I just discovered. The idea of experiencing heavenly life on earth is NOT a new idea. It was the ORIGINAL idea God had for a human's lifestyle on Earth. That's why He put the first man He created in the Garden of Eden. He didn't put man in the middle of a jungle or some bush filled forest. God put man in an environment full of order. When I think of a "garden", it is a place of order; flowers go here, veggies over there, etc... The Garden of Eden was an atmosphere or environment of heavenly order. The word "Eden" means "Delight" or "Pleasure"(Strong's H5731 and H5730). So in other words the Garden of Eden is a heavenly order in the delightful and pleasant presence of God.

Adam LOST A GOVERNMENT and ever since then "man" has been trying to come up with his own government. This is way the bible states "There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death." (Prov. 16:25) Just look at everything that happens world wide. No government is working. They all have poverty, crime, corruption, violence. Everyone is looking for the right gorvernment, consciously or non-consciously. We are ALL looking for the perfect lifestyle. This can ONLY come from a perfect government system.

I believe and know that this perfect government (Garden of Eden) has already returned to earth.  It is here NOW. Jesus The Christ called it "The Kingdom of Heaven". Jesus has been the most misunderstood man on earth. People see him as the founder a religion which He never created. Jesus did NOT come to start a religion, He came to bring this government back to us. The prophet Isaiah said it this way "For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." (Isaiah 9:6) Jesus came and brought back to us this wonderful government called "The Kingdom".  

IT HAS ARRIVED!!! IT IS HERE NOW!!! YOU CAN ENTER INTO THIS LIFESTYLE AND CULTURE. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS ACCEPT AND BELIEVE IN THE KING OF THIS HEAVENLY COUNTRY.

Think Like a King

A question I and most people have ask themselves is "What is life?" "Why am I on this planet?" "Why was I born?".... Is my life suppose to be going to work Monday thru Friday to a 9 to 5 job?.... Is my life babysitting and doing house chores?... Maybe it's playing the lotto everyday and hoping you would win.... Or Maybe you are even unemployed right now and have no idea what to do with you life.... 

I believe that everyone was born with a PURPOSE. Life is NOT meant to be a guessing game. That's why I've started a kingdom thinking website. My goal is get you to think like a KING, because I know life shouldn't be a question. God created us to have DOMINION on earth. (Gen. 1:26) You should NOT have to spend the precious time you have on this planet guessing at what works for you to have success. Success is always the result of a focus. You should NOT have to put your hopes in some random number drawing. You should NOT have to go through life guessing. Only you have the power (ability) to change YOUR LIFE. 

 "ONLY YOU CAN REALIZE YOU NEED A CHANGE IN YOUR LIFE" 

A change in life requires changing the way you think. This is the "Key" to living an effective life. A life of financial freedom, a life where you have no more worries, a life where you're not a slave making someone or some other company rich, but a life where YOU are the one getting prosperous, a life where YOU can truly experience life to the fullest. The first word of the first public state by Jesus The Christ was "Repent". (Matt 4:17) It simply means, to change the way you think. Thinking different is what will get you to do things differently in 2013. 

Many people want to change but don't know "how". In the bible it states that "God's people perish because of a lack a knowledge" (Hosea 4:6). Knowledge is a key to bring change in one's life. I want to bring to you some knowledge that can be life changing. It's revelation that has inspired me to share what I know about life. I hope to share it with you.
